Bedminster Bid Manager Job Opening

Bedminster BID is looking for a new BID manager to work alongside our growing trader community and experienced board of directors.

BIDs are not run single handedly and we are excited to welcome a new manager who wants to take Bedminster BID into its third term, one full of exciting new opportunities for growth and who represents our trader community with passion.

WHO WE ARE?

Community spirit is the beating heart of Bedminster, and the Bedminster BID champions, supports and advocates on behalf of the diverse and unique traders that serve this community.

Over the last 10 years the BID has created and delivered initiatives to build new audiences visiting the area for shopping, hospitality and activities.

We are looking for the right person to continue this legacy and bring new ideas to the table, in partnership with the traders, delivering what they need to help make our high streets continue to thrive.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The right candidate is passionate about place, business, culture and community while understanding the complexities that our highstreets face in this changing market. You have experience in a similar role, with the sector knowledge of the public realm.

Strong understanding of managing budgets, including those with multiple income streams is essential. You happily navigate working alongside different authorities, the private sector and community and voluntary organisations.

You are invested in the success of the BID area, being attuned to the individual needs of one stakeholder while preparing for the future development and regeneration within BS3 and city wide.

You can communicate and influence in a complex stakeholder environment, finding yourself at ease with a diverse range of individuals and sector organisations. We want applications from those who see the levy payers as an extension of their team, engaging and championing them through exciting projects and initiatives that amplify their unique offers.

Your strategic abilities help you to deliver within strict deadlines, while being flexible and responsive to the needs of the traders and community you represent.

As a natural leader, you see strength in working collaboratively. You amplify and support the wider team around you, breathing positivity and passion into your work.

We welcome applications from all backgrounds, and wish to hear from those who want to be part of the Bedminster BID of the future.
