This year, we will be trying to make our area more ‘walkable’ by persuading people to remove obstacles such as overhanging hedges, abandoned recycling bins and pavement parked cars from the foot-way, being especially concerned with obstacles impeding buggy pushers and people with limited mobility, balance and sight.

Some people promote walking by encouraging attractive front gardens, the use of Bedminster Toilet map and in 2019 several businesses looked into how their premises might become more accessible as well as keeping the pavement clear outside. The campaign to make it Safe, Easy and Pleasant for EVERYONE who want to walk around Bedminster will continue in 2020.
