Europe’s largest street art and graffiti festival, Upfest will return to Bristol on Saturday 29th to Monday 31st July 2017 showcasing a host of artistic talent from across the globe.

Returning to the streets of Bedminster for a ninth year, the festival attracts tens of thousands of visitors offering free entertainment for all the family as more than 300 artists live paint over the three days, painting super-sized street murals, shop shutters, boards and small, almost hidden works.

The 2017 artist line-up will be revealed shortly following the news that street art duo, Pahnl will be this year’s festival artist, the first duo to take the position. Last year Upfest attracted artists from more than 40 countries world-wide and as far-flung as Canada, Australia, Argentina, Israel and Europe giving visitors the chance to meet some of the world’s most talented urban artists, such as Inkie, Leon Kerr, Cheo, FIN DAC, Shok-1, , Pichi&Avo, Cheba, Louis Masai and Mr June.

As well as the live painting, visitors can enjoy affordable art sales, children’s areas, kids graffiti workshops, music stages and live entertainment on the Saturday and Sunday and on the Monday, a special children programme offers activities and workshops so the kids can get involved throughout the day.

Once again Upfest will be raising money for The National Association for Children of Alcoholics (NACOA) which offers aid and assistance for children growing up in families affected by alcoholism.
