ANNOUNCEMENT: Bedminster Winter Lantern Parade postponed due to poor weather

Unfortunately due to the poor weather conditions forecast for tomorrow the decision has been made to postpone the Bedminster Winter Lantern Parade 2016 until the new year.

Malcolm Brammar, Chair, Bedminster Winter Lanterns explains:

“With a current weather forecast for Bedminster suggesting rain all tomorrow morning and a sustained period of heavy rain expected in the hours leading up to and during the Parade, we have taken the decision to postpone the Bedminster Winter Lantern Parade2016. Over the next few days, we will be talking to the appropriate organisations and participating groups to find an alternative date and road closures early in the New Year so that the many hours of creative work can still be seen and celebrated on the streets of Bedminster.”
