Meet Marc and Jason, the dynamic duo behind North Street’s TEN Hairdressing.
Marc and Jason met 15 years ago while working for the hairdressing chain Shaggers – now there’s a throwback for those who remember. Sharing this commonality, Marc and Jason set about buying their own salon in... ahem... Clifton.
After ten years cutting, colouring and styling north of the river, Marc and Jason made the wonderful decision to head South of the river... and what a decision it’s turned out to be.
When asked about the salon’s history, the two were quick to agree that their move to Bedminster five years ago was one of the best decisions they’ve ever made. Since then, they’ve seen Bedminster take off with more people crossing the river for the incredible businesses BS3 has to offer.
The salon is coming up on its 5 year anniversary in Bedminster and the two are beyond proud to be doing business south of the river. Marc and Jason have built a reputation of amazing service, incredible relationships with loyal clients and a family of staff that have been trained and developed into some of Bristol’s very best.
Some of those people are long time clients who have also seen the area transform in recent years. One in particular takes the bus in from Cardiff once a month to see Marc and Jason and ops to stay to do her shopping along East Street, favouring the independent shops over those in her own neighbourhood.
The two talk about doing business in Bedminster with a tone that is bursting with pride. They’re excited about the community they belong to and the incredible independent businesses making a name for themselves around them.
The salon will be celebrating its five year anniversary in Bedminster on Sunday 24 March from 3pm-6pm and invite the whole community to come by to grab a glass of bubbles and say hello!
