We all have our favourite Christmas traditions, and for us, there’s nothing quite like listening to the full brass band of the Salvation Army and singing some carols. This year, West Street Carols is coming to Bedminster on the 14th of December outside Mezzaluna at 6pm. Swing by, grab a mince pie and warm up with some mulled wine as we really get into the spirit of Christmas.

Is there anything better than the smell of a real Christmas tree? It’s the winter equivalent of freshly cut grass. If you’re looking to pick up your tree this year, then you only have to wander down the road to visit your local traders. There’s Ashton Fruit Shop, Lion Stores, Hugo’s and East Street Fruit & Veg to grab your trees from this year, and don’t forget the many shops on the high street to pick up your tree decorations like Monpote, Casper, Glass Designs, Wilkos and more!

Our new neighbours at the East Street Emporium are putting on an Outdoor Christmas Market with over 20 independent businesses selling lots of gorgeous gifts for Christmas. From soy candles, stunning light features, and all things handmade and pre-loved, it’s a definite must to pick up that extra special gift. Swing by on the 19th December 12-4pm.
