East Street is one of the best places in Bristol to get fresh fruit & veg, and one of the best places to get half of your weekly shop done. We got:

Upper Crust

Bread. One of the most essential items on your weekly shopping list. If you’re having buttery toast for breakfast or making sarnies for your lunch, you’re gonna need a good loaf. A small brown loaf from here cost just £1.50.

Red Pear Supermarket

You can get so much at the Red Pear Supermarket, a brand new indie alternative to the big brands! From fresh strawberries to the biggest watermelons you could possibly find, it’s just packed full of amazing offers. Not to mention their cupboard essentials like pasta, rice, and tinned goods. From the Red Pear, we got:

Kelvins Butchers

Kelvins is an East Street institution and has all your weekday staples as well as some really surprising and special treats. Their pork sirloins start at £1 and their Thatchers Haze sausages are a sensation! But this time round, we took home 250g of minced beef from here.

Farm Foods

Farm Foods is a top spot for the East Street faithful. You can find it down in St Catherine’s Place, there are tons of amazing offers, which is why we went there to get our cupboard essentials. We picked up:
